announced today that its Zoom Model 5551 ADSL X4 Residential
Gateway provides full support for Microsoft's Xbox
Live interactive gaming, while at the same time permitting
full Internet access to one or more Windows PCs. The ADSL
X4 is a complete solution, including the gateway/modem hardware,
cables, communications software, documentation and support.

PC's USB port, install the software, and plug into the phone
line. Then install the Xbox Live software onto the Xbox, and

The Zoom ADSL X4 includes a NAT firewall for security, and
provides shared Internet access for up to 253 concurrent users
when plugged into a network hub or wireless LAN access point.
The ADSL X4 has two RJ-11 jacks, including one jack with a
built-in filter for use with a telephone, answering machine
or fax machine. Zoom supports the ADSL
X4 with a two-year warranty, European and U.S. multi-lingual
support teams, and twenty-five years of experience as a manufacturer
