The Zoom/Modem V.92 External Model 3049 is a high performance 56K fax modem that plugs into the serial port of a computer using Windows, Macintosh, LINUX or Unix operating systems as well as with HP's Thin Client products when used with drivers available from HP. The Model 3049 outperforms earlier V.90 modems by implementing both V.92 and V.44 standard technology. The V.92 standard supports modem-on-hold, Quick Connect and faster upload speeds. The enhanced V.44 compression standard delivers higher speed WEB browsing. Both standards combine for an improved Internet user experience.

Model 2920 - PC 56K-PCI PLUS Modem

The Zoom/FaxModem 56K PCI Plus Model 2920 is Zoom's best internal fax modem. It plugs into any unused PCI slot in a Windows or Linux-based desktop computer as well as with HP's Thin Client products when used with drivers available from HP. The Zoom/FaxModem 56K USB utilizes the capabilities of a computer’s Universal Serial Bus for the fastest and most convenient modem hookup yet! Using the included USB cable, just plug the Zoom/FaxModem 56K USB into your PC or Macintosh USB port as well as with HP's Thin Client products when used with drivers available from HP. You don’t even have to shut down the computer. The new modem will then be installed automatically and you’ll be ready for fast, reliable access to the Internet, and other dial-up modems. Configuration is automatic and without the potential conflicts of an RS-232 serial port or an internal modem. The Zoom/FaxModem 56K USB doesn’t even need an external power supply. It gets its power from the USB port itself.
