Voice
over IP (VoIP)
Zoom offers a broad line of VoIP products. Zoom VoIP hardware includes:
Analog Telephone Adapters (ATA's) which plug into the Ethernet port of a router connected to broadband, and let you use normal phones for Internet Telephone calls. The X5v which integrates an ADSL modem, ATA with TelePort™, router, firewall, and 4-port switching hub. The V3 which plugs into the Ethernet port of a cable or DSL modem and includes an ATA with TelePort, router, firewall, and 4-port switching hub.
When sold under the Zoom brand at retail, these products include Zoom's Global Village' VoIP long-distance phone service. Global Village requires absolutely no financial commitment for a number of useful capabilities, including the ability to make free VoIP calls to Global Village customers and most other VoIP users anywhere in the world. Another free Global Village service is your own chat room where you can have a conference call with up to four other Global Village customers. Global Village customers all have a VoIP phone number for incoming calls from VoIP callers. Global Village also lets a customer make low-cost calls to any phone anywhere in the world even if it is only connected to the traditional Public Switched Telephone Service.

Dialers
